Smoothie Tuesday! Blackberry lemon smoothie



The combination of blackberries and lemon in this smoothie is really delicious! This one is a must try! I have never put lemon zest in my smoothies before and I am definitely going to start! Citrus peels are also great for digestion!

Blackberry lemon smoothie

1/2 cup blackberries

1 apple

1 pear

1 1/2″ chunk of ginger

large handful of dark leafy greens

2 tablespoons shredded coconut

2 soaked dates

1 tablespoon lemon zest

2 teaspoons lemon juice

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 tablespoon maca powder(optional)

1 tablespoon hemp protein(optional)

1 tablespoon raw cacoa nibs(optional)

about 2 cups water or coconut water

  1. Mmmmm, love the lemon and the ginger in this smoothie. I’ve never put zest in my smoothies either, but this is a great reason to start!
